What the app accesses
With your permission, the app reads and writes your products (scopes read_products and
write_products). It reads product titles, product types, vendors and tags, and adds or removes tags that
start with _syn-. It does not access customers, orders or payment information.
What the app stores
- Your shop domain and the access token Shopify issues to the app.
- The synonym groups you create.
- A log of product syncs: when they ran, how many products were checked and updated, and any error message Shopify returned.
The app stores no personal data about your customers. Data is stored on servers in the European Union (Helsinki, Finland).
Retention and deletion
When you uninstall the app, Shopify sends a deletion request 48 hours later and the app then deletes everything it stored for your shop. Tags already written to your products stay on your products; remove them with "Remove all synonym tags" in the app before uninstalling.
Sharing
The app does not sell or share your data with anyone.
